I've been playing Age of Empires 2 for almost 2 decades, and consider the game to be not only the greatest real-time strategy game of all time, but the greatest video game of all time.

However, whenever I introduced friends to Age of Empires 2, I found they always struggled - The reality was, and still very much is, that Age of Empires 2 has a very steep learning curve.

As a result, I set out on a goal to make learning Age of Empires 2 easier, the inspiration for AOE2Guide - a compendium to encourage players to improve their skills and become more confident at the game.
