Using your Scout Cavalry to push deer towards a Mill or the Town Center so villagers can hunt them close to a drop-off point. Deer give more food per second than farms or berries.
Pushing deer takes careful Scout control, and the Scout is not scouting the opponent while it does it. How well deer can be pushed depends on the map and on changes to how the map generator places them.
