Short for economy. Your eco is the number of villagers, how well they are spread across food, wood, gold and stone, and the upgrades that make them gather faster.
Eco upgrades include Double-Bit Axe, Horse Collar, Gold Mining and Wheelbarrow. A player who damages the other’s eco with a raid or a rush can win the game without winning a large fight.
